Quick math question i don't know if im too stupid to get it right.

Can't seem to get this right in my head.

So i have 16000 charges. And one is taken every 3.6 seconds. How do I calculate how many minutes this will take to reach 0? Sorry for stupid question but I want to learn for future reference! Thank you.

an = a1 +d(n-1) an AP with common difference =d = -1/3.6, a1=16000,

it's an Arithmetic sequence, when is an= 0?

16000, 15999, 15998, ... 2, 1, 0, ...

a1, a2, a3, ...an-2, an-1, an, ...

an = 0 = 16000 - 1/3.6(n-1)

16000 = n/3.6 - 1/3.6

n-1 =3.6x16000

n= 57601 seconds = 57601/60 minutes

= 960.01666...

= about 960 minutes
