Hi Colsten,
Your question does not include the location of the 7.6kg package. If it is on the surface of the earth, then Weight = (mass in kg) multiplied by the acceleration due to gravity on earth (9.8 m/s2). However, if you take the package to the surface of the moon, then use 1.63 m/s2 for the acceleration due to gravity there.
Weight is location dependent!
