There is no diagram, so we have NO way of knowing how those angles are related...
But then you say the answer is 115, so apparently, the angles are equal
15x - 5 = 10x + 35
5x - 5 = 35
5x = 40
x=8
then angle #1 is 15(8)-5 = 120-5 = 115
and angle #2 is 10(8) +35 = 80+35 = 115
so the angles are bisected or vertical
