you get Perimeter by adding up all side lengths.

Perimeter of a rectangle is 2( width + height)

(which is width + width + height +height)

plug in the values of width and height

P = x+5+x+5+2x-5+2x-5

combine the like terms ( x terms and constant Terms) you should get the perimeter in terms of x
