sodium hydrogen carbonate = NaHCO3 (also known as sodium bicarbonate)
hydrofluoric aicd = HF (a weak acid)
Reaction:
NaHCO3 + HF ==> NaF + H2CO3 ==> CO2 + H2O ... balanced equation
The reaction will favor the side with the weaker acid.
H2CO3 is a weaker acid than HF so the PRODUCTS will be favored
