Physical or Chemical Change

  1. Calcium chloride + water
  2. Sodium hydrogen carbonate + Hydrochloric acid

I think # 2 is chemical change because carbon dioxide and water are form. Is that correct?


But for #1 reaction, it produces heat, but if the water evaporated, still the same substance? So it this a physical or chemical change?
