The givens are BD bisects <ABC and the other given is <A is congruent to <C. I have to prove ABD is congruent to CBD.

Line BD shared by the two triangles provides an equal side, the bisected angle provides two equal angle (<ABD and <CBD) and <A equals <C (given) provides another equal angle such that ABD is congruent to CBD by AAS.
