How to write the AXE notation for Methoxymethane and Propane?

I've learned how to write the AXE notation of some molecules such as Selenium Tetrachloride (SeCl4) which is AX4E1. I do not find any difficulties in writing this since there are only two elements and the central atom is only Selenium.

Therefore,


  1. How to write the AXE notation of other compounds that has 3 or more elements in it? An example is Methoxmethane (C2H6O).
  2. How to write the AXE notation of Propane (C3H8)? Please correct me if I am wrong, but will it be A3X8E0?
