a) 3,4 and 5 inches is the only actual triangle possible among the 3 choices
b) 13,2, and 11 collapse into a straight line, a "degenerate 'triangle'" at best
c) 10, 4 and 5 is impossible as a triangle. 10>4+5=9. a side can't be greater than the sum of the other two sides
