take sq root of both sides which gives you sin(x)= 1/6 take inverse sin to solve for x
x= 9.6Degrees and 180-9.6 = 170.4

Hey Stephen K.--you forgot 2 more solutions: x = 180° + 9.6° = 189.6° and x = 360° degrees - 9.6° = 350.4°, since sin(x) = -1/6 is also a solution, since (-1/6)^2 also = +1/36.
Hey, Pug E.--you will then have to multiply each of these answers by π/180° to get the real x values between 0 and 2π.
