Solve the equation in the interval [0,2π]. If there is more than one solution write them separated by commas. (sin(x))2=1/36

Mark M.

Do you mean sin^2 x = 1 / 36?

Hey Stephen K.--you forgot 2 more solutions: x = 180° + 9.6° = 189.6° and x = 360° degrees - 9.6° = 350.4°, since sin(x) = -1/6 is also a solution, since (-1/6)^2 also = +1/36. Hey, Pug E.--you will then have to multiply each of these answers by π/180° to get the real x values between 0 and 2π.
