How might you separate all of the dyes on one piece of chromatography paper?

If you are presented with an analyte that comprises a complex mixture of several dyes and you determine that one solvent provides good separations for one group of dyes but poor separation for another. A second solvent provides poor separation for the first group and good separation for the second group of dyes. How might you separate all of the dyes on one piece of chromatography paper? Note: you can cut paper in any shape you wish.

Why not run the paper twice. First in mobile phase 1 and then dry the paper and run again in mobile phase 2. You could even rotate the paper 90º, but that's probably not necessary.
