In order for our line to be perpendicular to the line y=-x-5 we need to have that our slope will be equal to 1. Therefore, our line will have the equation y=x+B where we have to find the constant B. But since we need our line to pass through the point (4,-3) it means that B satisfies the equation -3=4+B or B=-7. Thus, the desired equation will be y=x-7.
