Hello Juan!
So, we know that JM is the longest segment and the other three segments are between J and M.
That means that we can add the parts of the ratio together (2 + 1 + 2 = 5), and we find that JM has 5 parts.
Since JM = 30, we can divide it by 5 and see that each part is equal to 6.
We can add the JK and KL parts together (2 + 1 = 3) to show that JL has 3 parts.
Then we multiply 3 by 6 to find our answer:
JL=18
