does anyone know "perpendicular to the line y= -1/4x+7 and goes through the point (-4, 6)

y-6 = 4(x+4)

perpendicular slope is the negative inverse of -1/4 = +4/1= 4. change sign and flip upside down

then plug in m=4 and h=6, k=-4 or (k,h) = (-4,6) into the point slope formula

y-h = m(x-k) to get

y-6 = 4(x+4) or

y = 4x +16 + 6 = 4x + 22

y = 4x + 22
