Find the volume of the gas cylinder:
V = π r2 h = (3.1416)(2.8 cm)2(22 cm) = 542 cm3 = 0.542 L
So we now have the initial volume (0.542 L) and the initial pressure (25.2 atm)
Assuming the temperature in the bag and the room and the cylinder are the same, we have constant temp. We can then use Boyles Law P1V1 = P2V2
(25.2 atm)(0.542 L) = (1 atm)(V2) this assumes standard conditions so I set P2 = 1 atm
V2 = volume of plastic bag + cylinder = 13.7 L
