Perimeter P of a triangle with 3 sides a, b, c is P = a + b + c
here in the problem 3 vertices are given , you have to calculate the distace or length of the 3 lines a, b , c
so the formula of the distance d = √( x2 - x1 )2+ ( y2- y1)2
if we consider co-ordinates 2 vertices (0, 2) , ( -1, 3 ) and plugging the values the distance formula we get,
d = √2 = say one side a
similar way we can find for other 2 vertices ( -1,3 ) and ( -3, -6)
d = √85 = say side b ....similarly you get side c
after you get all 3 sides you will plug in values in P = a + b+ c ....................hope this helps you
