Without a calculator find all the solutions of Sin(t)= -1 where -pi < t ≤ pi

Can someone explain me the procedure of this type of exercises? Thank you!

There are ways to approach this

The first is to draw the graph of y =sin x which you should know.( If you don’t you need to learn it)

You will see that this would be at 3pi/2 which is the same as -pi/2

The second approach is to look at the unit circle and see where the y value is -1 which gives you the same answer
