Below are listed the numbers of engineers in various fields by gender:
Mechanical Electrical Biomedical total
Male 9,601 4,357 6,318 20276
Female 2,039 1,181 5,168 8388
Total 11640 5538 11486 28664
If one engineer is chosen at random, find the probability that the person chosen is an electrical engineer, given that she is female.
I got P(Electrical | Female) = 1181/8388, not reducible. Is that correct?
