Angle 6 and angle 7 form a linear pair. Twice the measure of angle 6 is twelve more than four times the measure of angle 7. Find the measure of each angle

I am having a lot of trouble with this problem. I don't know how to form it. The, "twice the measure of... twelve more than four times" is just super confusing to me. I don't know how to get the answer. PLease help me out ASAP. Thank you.

y represents angle 7


x + y = 180

2x = 4y + 12

You use a substitution method or elimination method By substitution, you isolate y, y=180-x then substitute y in the second equation: 2x= 4(180-x) 2x=720-4x , x= 120 y=60
