The periodic trend for atomic radius is that atoms get larger going from right to left within a period and they get larger going from top to bottom within a group. Cations (+) are smaller than their neutral atom and anions (-) are larger than their neutral atom. See if you can use these criteria to find the correct answer. Example: Mg is in same group as Be but is below it, so Mg is larger than Be.
