NH4Br is the salt formed from the weak base NH4OH and the strong acid HBr. Therefore, a solution of this salt will be acidic.
NH4Br(aq) + H2O(l) ==> NH4OH(aq) + HBr(aq)
NH4+(aq) + H2O(l) ==> NH3(aq) + H3O+(aq) ... hydrolysis of NH4+
Ka(NH4+) = [NH3][H3O+]/[NH4+]
