There is other way you can do too! Use g/a = 1/2 , Multiply by a on both sides g= 1/2a Now substitute value of g in the equation 6g+ 4a= 7 6* 1/2a+ 4a= 7 a= 1 Now substitute value of a back in the equation to find value of g 6g+4(1)= 7 6g =3 g=1/2 So g/a=1/2
