6g + 4a = 7a [now subtract 4a from each side (subtraction property of equality) to get:
6g = 3a [now divide both sides by "a" (division property of equality) to get:
6g/a = 3 [not divide both sides by 6 (division property of equality) to get:
g/a = 3/6 [now reduce the fraction 3/6 to get:
g/a = 1/2

There is other way you can do too! Use g/a = 1/2 , Multiply by a on both sides g= 1/2a Now substitute value of g in the equation 6g+ 4a= 7 6* 1/2a+ 4a= 7 a= 1 Now substitute value of a back in the equation to find value of g 6g+4(1)= 7 6g =3 g=1/2 So g/a=1/210/05/20
