Need help with this question ASAP

Design an experiment that you can use to answer a question about the factors that affect the activity of catalase enzyme. Make sure to include:

  1. The question you are trying to answer
  2. Which quantities you will change, and which quantities you will hold constant
  3. What will you measure?
  4. What data will you collect?
  5. How will you analyze your data?

This activity is meant to assess your understanding of the factors that affect enzyme activity and your understanding of the scientific method. So, write down experimental ideas concerning the factors that could affect enzyme activity, e.g. concentration of the substrate, temperature, pH. Then, design a test for each variable independently, making sure that you have a positive and negative control. Think about how you could test for catalase activity. Most aerobic organisms (including you!) have the catalase enzyme. Yeast is readily available and has an obvious catalase reaction with hydrogen peroxide. That should help you get started! Connie
