m<RST=(12x-1), m<RSU=(9x-15), m<UST=53 find each measure

Is <U to the right or to the left of T?

This is going to be an angle addition problem, but more info is needed. Was there a picture with the problem or in the directions did it say either R is on the interior of <UST or or U is on the interior of <RST?

Agreed. Need more information it reads like U could be a point inside RST where the side SU might be a common line shared between RSU and UST but the same could be said of T being a point inside RSU where ST is a line shared between RST and UST?

Assuming that SU divides <RST into two angles the solution is x = 13 because the equation will be (12x-1)-(9x-15)=53, but like mentioned before there is probably missing information for this problem (like a picture or something).
