If you had 1 liter (1000 ml) of this solution, what would the mass be?
1000 ml solution x 1.14 g/ml = 1140 g of solution
If it is 20.2 % HCl by mass, then the mass of HCl would be 1140 g x 0.202 = 230.28 g = 230 g (3 sig. figs.)
Molarity = moles HCl/L solution
230 g HCl x 1 mol HCl/36.46 g = 6.31 moles
Molarity (M) = 6.31 M
