For a population with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 20, find the z-score for the following X values

108, 115, 130, 90, 88, 95

Now find the X value that corresponds to each of the following z-scores

-.40, -.50, 1.80, .75, 1.5, -1.25

z score is equal to (x - mean)/standard deviation.

For example, for x = 108, z = (108-100)/20 = 8/20 = 0.4

For example, for z = -0.4, -0.4 = (x-100)/20 and x=92
