Slope m of unknown line m = 4. So using point-slope equation of line we have: y - (- 2) = 4(x - (- 3));
y = - 2 + 4x + 12; y = 4x + 10
Answer: y = 4x + 10

Answer: y = 4x + 10
The parallel line will have the same slope so it can be written as
y= 4x+b
Since it contains the point (-3,-2) just substitute these x and y values to solve for b
-2 = 4(-3)+b
-2 = -12 + b
b=10
so equation is y=4x+10
