it is geometry i´ve been struggling with this a lot if you could help me get the answer that would be helpful i dont understand this at all

First of all please let me know if this is your question

y = 0.25x - 7

If that is the question do you want to know if it passes through (-6, 8)

If (-6, 8) is a point on the line you just plug in the x value to see if it results in the y value

y = 0.25(-6) - 7

y = -1.5 - 7

y = -8.5

So it looks the line does not pass through the point (-6, 8)

You can also just graph the line to see if (-6, 8) is a point on the line.
