LW = 60 and L = W + 3

LW = (W+3)W = 60

W² + 3W - 60 = 0

Use quadratic formulat to get W=6.3899 yds --> L=9.3899 yds

Check:

6.3899 yds x 9.3899 yds = 60.00 sq yds
