How long will it take the ball to hit the ground?

If you drop an object from a height of 1.3 m, it will hit the ground in 0.52 s. If you throw a baseball horizontally with an initial speed of 38 m/s from the same height, how long will it take the ball to hit the ground?

It will be the same.  The force of gravity will be the same.  The only difference will be that the ball that is thrown will travel in a horizontal direction while dropping.
