Plane figures

hi tutor,
me and my daughter confused some home work problems.  Please explain for us each question and the answer thank you very much.
 
1.  Fran draw a Venn Diagram with two circles and labels the circles " Polygons with Parallel sides" and " Quadrilaterals with Parallel sides."  Which figure belongs only in the circle labeled "Polygons with parallel sides? 
     A.   Hextagon
     B.  Rhombus
     C.  Parallelogram rectangle
     d.  square
 
 
2.  Enrique has the craft sticks shown.  Name the possible polygons Wnrique can make. 
 
3.  Anita has 2 long pencils of equal lenght and 2 shorts pencils of equal lenght.  If she arranges them so that the long pencils and short pencils are opposite and parallel, which figure does she make?
         A.  Trapezoid
         B.   Rhombus
         C.  Square
         D.  Parallelogram 
     We pick d for answer.

Question 1
A square best fits the quadrilateral definition.  It only has 2 pairs of parallel sides whereas a hexagon has 3 pairs of parallel sides.
 
 
Question 2
 
He can make a trapezoid using all of the sticks, or he can make a triangle using three of the four sticks.
