Inductive Reasoning question

The problem is: Ac, Al, Am, Sb, Ar, As ...

I'm supposed to find the next two in the sequence, but I'm struggling a lot. I know it has to do with science and the periodic table, but I can't think of a solution at all. Please help!

I think the periodic table is a red herring.

If you look at the first letters you have A A A S A A ... so I would think the next two letters are A S

For the second letters you have c l m b rs. You have a c, and a b, going down, so I would think the next letter would be a.

Then you have lm and rs (sequential pairs). 6 letters apart (l to r and m to s ). So if you follow this pattern next pair will be xy.

So it looks like the next two second letters would be a x y

So that the next two are Aa and Sx.
