The surface area of each pellet pictured in the container is exactly 100 mm to the power of 2. About how long would the container need to be wasting no space on either side of the pellets?There are 3 pellets
the pellets are spheres

Asphere = 4πr2
100 = 4πr2
25 = πr2
25 / π = r2
5 / √π = r
10 / √π = d
30 / √π = length

Here's my best guess.
Surface area of a Sphere = 4*pi*r^2
Solve for radius.
100 = 4*pi*r^2 Divide by 4
25 = pi*r^2 Divide by pi
7.96 = r^2 Take square root of both sides
2.82 = r
Diameter = 2(radius)
Diameter = 5.64
Each sphere is 5.64 mm long.
Length of 3 spheres side by side: 3 x 5.64 mm = 16.9 mm
The rectangular box must be 16.9 mm long x 5.64 wide x 5.64 tall.
