Since independent events:

P(A and B) = P(A) * P(B)

P(A and B) = 0.7 * 0.3 = 0.21

P(A or B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A and B)

P(A or B) = 0.7 + 0.3 - 0.21 = 0.78

Since independent events, P(A|B) = P(A) and P(B|A) = P(B)
