I do not teach yoga. But I am a veteran multi-subject online tutor, so I make very good use of the technological resources currently available for my online instruction to students of all different ages and academic abilities in a wide variety of academic subjects. I utilize the ShareScreen button on WyzAnt's online tutoring tool, Zoom and Google Hangouts accordingly. I incorporate music a great deal into my everyday online academic instruction in which song lyrics (to songs I know and adore from my generation and earlier, as well as to more current Pop songs that my students are more familiar with themselves) contextually symbolize the academic content taught at hand to help my students further understand what they are learning scholastically from an artistic, rhythmic, free-flowing standpoint. When playing the academically-oriented recorded music on iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, Pandora, and whatnot, the ScreenShare button comes into play here most effectively in terms of sharing the music audibly and any accompanying videos or websites highlighting the lyrics annunciated for my students to see and hear simultaneously. This methodology has worked for many years in my classroom teaching career, so I am thrilled to be able to carry it over to my everyday online instruction as well!
