Hello. To find the surface area you will need to find the area of the 3 unique sides of this rectangular prism. The multiply each of these unique areas by 2 and add them all up. Lastly, we will round to the nearest whole #.
Remember Area = Length x width
There is the Front (and back) facing side which is 4.5ft x 10 ft = 45 ft2
There are the sides which are 2.25 ft x 10ft = 22.5 ft2
There are the Top and Bottom which are 2.25 ft x 4.5 ft = 10.125 ft2
double each of these areas:
= 90 ft2
= 45 ft2
+ = 20.25 ft2
155.25 ft2 rounded = 155 ft2
