Help pls! Grade 9 math! :A recipe for punch includes 2 Litres of orange juice, 1 1/2 litres Apple juice, 3/4 litre ginger ale, and 1/2 litre of grape juice, if doubled how many Ltires of punch will you have?

Here is a solution to your question.

 

English: Add all of the amounts of juice to get a total of juice (convert fractions to decimals)

Math:    2 + 1.5 + .75 + .5 = 4.75

 

English: Then multiply 4.75 x 2

Math 4.75 x 2 = 9.5

 

English: Write Answer.

 

If doubled I will have 9.5 or 9 1/2 liters of punch.
