Notice the units of density given vs units of mass: g/cm3 VS kg
We need to convert kg to g before starting our calculation
8.60 kg = 8600 g
Rearrange density formula to solve for volume
volume = mass / density
volume = 8600 g / 1.30 g/cm3
calculator spits out: 6615.384 cm3
3 sig figs = 6620 cm3
