Geometry homework

Todd has a round above ground pool. It has a diameter of 27’. When the pool is full the water is 52’ deep. Todd took the cover off and the pool depth is at 3’. How many gallons of water will Todd need to add to bring the pool up to 52’? ( 1 cubic foot=7.49052 gallons)

Mark M.

Are you sure that the pool is 52 feet deep?

52 feet is the same as a four story building. The number does not make sense. Are you sure it is not 52 inches?

I have an above ground circular pool that is 24 feet in diameter and the center of the pool is 52 inches deep. There is obviously a typo. It should be 52 inches and not 52 feet.

If the pool is 52 inches and not 52 feet (inches make more sense), use the answer by Expert Tutor Mark M rather than my answer.
