By the segment addition postulate:
HJ + JK = HK (HK are KH refer to the same segment)
(4x +9) + (3x + 3) = 33
7x + 12 = 33
7x = 21
x = 3
HJ = 4(3) + 9 = 21
JK = 3(3) + 3 = 12
