I have a pre algebra class in college, and I'm doing the homework but I don't understand miles so I would like to get the answer for this so I could understand it more.

Dajouna, a mile is a distance. Imagine having a ride in a car for ONE MINUTE! The distance covered by the car you're in IS ROUGHLY A MILE considering you do this evaluation on a HIGHWAY . In other words, on a HIGHWAY, you ride A MILE EVERY MINUTE ! I hope you got some help with the concept of a mile.
