Hi Saad,
we could either do this problem one of two ways . First, do the distance formula which is the square root of the sum of the square of the differences of the x and y coordinates. Or
map them on a coordinate graph. Try that Saad and you will see that they are vertical and horizontal lines and you can count the squares in the grid , add them up and you get the perimeter which is the sum of the lengths and widths together.
