1) A dilation changes the size but not the shape of a geometric object. In other words, the dimensions of the dilated objects are proportional to the original object. We can eliminate C) and D) because the dilated shapes look different from the original shape. Same with A) as the dilated shape appears stretched vertically but not horizontally. That leaves us with B). The dilated shape in B) preserves the shape of the original object.
3) A reflection changes the orientation of the object (flips the object backwards). A second reflection flips the object again to its original orientation. Remember the lines containing the reflected points must be perpendicular to the reflection line. Only D) has a reflection line (the dotted line) that is perpendicular to both reflection lines. Choose D)
