The answer is E, 225 degrees.
When the ship is saling north, it is going up on the Y-axis. Then, it turns right and keeps turning (if I am understanding the problem correctly), until it is pointing in the III quadrant (where both X and Y are negative). That way, it had to have turned through quadrant I, which makes it 90 degrees, then quadrant IV, which makes it 180 degrees (now it is kind of pointing south), and then even past the negative Y-axis to turn to the SouthWest direction. We do not know exactly where in quadrant III it is pointing, but the only answer greater than 180 degrees here is 225. I hope that this makes sense!
