3x + 2y = 11
There is more than one way to do this. You can start be eliminating x. Multiply the top equation by 3, multiply the bottom equation by -7, and add the 2 resulting equations.
21x - 9y = -15
-21x - 14y = -77
Add these and get
-23y = -92
y = 4
Now plug this value of y into either equation and solve for x. Using the original top equation,
7x - 3(4) = -5
7x - 12 = -5
x = 1
