The shape of a roll of quarters is a cylinder, so you will be finding the volume of a cylinder.
PI * R^2 * H
where R = radius and H = height
You are given the diameter, so you can compute R (the radius) as half the diameter.
You are given the height (thickness) of each quarter. To determine the height (H) of the roll you will need to multiply the number of quarters in a roll (which you have not specified but is generally 40) * the height of each quarter.
