You accidentally tripled the size of a normal cake. By the end of the day, there was still 34

 of the cake left. Being the wonderful boss you are, you decide to split it up for your 6 employees to take home.  How much of the cake did each worker get?

You have 34 pieces of cake to share between 6 people, then you will divide 34 by 6.

You will get 5. Each person will get 5 pieces. BUT you have 4 pieces left over to divide between the 6 people.

So each person will get 5 and 4/6 pieces. BUT, the 4/6 is not SIMPLEST TERMS. You can divide both the top and bottom of the fraction by 2. This will give you 2/3.

FINAL ANSWER: Each person gets 5 and 2/3 pieces of cake.
