The formula of a geometric sequence is a(n)= a1 * r ^(n-1) wehre a1 is the first term, r is the common ratio, and n is the number of the term.
For 1)
r=3/2, a1=8, n=8
so a8 = (8)*(3/2)^(8-1)
a8 = 8 * (3/2) ^ 7
For 2), the common ratio is r=3 and the first term is 4. I'll let you figure out the rest!
