This is a wrong approach. Holden should consider official investigation ( by a certified food-inspection company , or Gov. institute ) , or even police investigators ; to know of what is being done in his factory that is pensioning customers.
There could be problems to check in the purchasing processes, manufacturing, storing or dispatching of goods , even to check the retail locations where his items are sold !!
Holden should check even his major's points of sales ( merchants / clients ) shops to know if his goods get damaged / un-suitable for consumption there ...
It could be : The raw materials he is buying ? The packing materials has poisonous components ? May be the jars? Or the cans ? or anything
May be his processes or ways of working - or packing or storing - making his foods un-healthy and unsuitable for human Consumption ?
Or is he having a criminal poisoning his foods ? May be sabotaging his jars??
Holston's responsibility starts from his purchasing process, reaching the end-selling point , till the end-customer buys and consumes.
