Jewelry measuring

I have a question sorry about this but I want to measure the diameter of the inside of my jewelry ring, what tools would i need to use and how would would use them?

Jewelers have a graduated stick to measure ring sizes.

If you have to do it by yourself, I would suggest a caliper.

If you don't have a caliper but you do have a set of drill bits, you can get an estimate by finding the largest bit which fits through the ring.
